We took these photos on Sept 15, 2007. It was Independence Day Eve in Chapala.

We arrived in town around 3 p.m and stayed until the finale; which started at around 10:30 p.m.

The battery on our camera died just before the finale. It was a speech, then ton's of confetti, and spectacular fireworks. I will make sure that my battery is full next year. Everyone was yelling "Viva Mexico". We both had a wonderful time.
